What is a Qi Field?
Master Liu Jianshe explains the nature of the Qi Field and how it is formed in Qigong practice.
A Qi Field is composed of Qi, and different fields vary according to the different qualities of Qi they contain. Qi is a kind of matter, the fundamental element of the universe. All Qi contains information, and everything in the universe contains its own particular information. The information of the human mind is a special kind of Qi because of its active properties. It is able to gather other Qi together to form a Field.
A Qi Field contains many kinds of information that merge together. It includes the place and its surroundings, the people within it and their information, and anything else the person building the Field wishes to include. For example, if they know how, people can connect their minds to other Qigong practitioners and include them in the Field.
When we practice Qigong, we use our mind to gather all kinds of Qi and unite them to form a Field. Different information will form different Fields, so we can form one for healing, or one that develops super-abilities, or that increases productivity, and so on.
Many Qigong centres have a Field focused on physical illness. In our Centre we have developed a Field that focuses more on the origins of illness and on the information people need to be well and stay in good health.
