Southern European Zhineng Qigong centre was created and continues to be run by Andrea Ginevra Jane Green an English woman who has lived for the last 35 years on the far away Italian island of Lampedusa. Along with her Husband Umberto they created a natural oasis by planting thousands of trees and flowering plants in a valley on this semi desert island. Thanks to an ingenious recycling system invented by Umberto, the valley now is known as the "island within the island" a beautiful wooded and flowering valley gently descending to a small beach. The valley is so rich with life that it is now a natural calling point for migratory and domestic birds , and all the animals and insects of the island it having a very strong qi field , this also makes it a perfect place to practice Zhineng Qigong . The practice is taken immersed in this rich nature . Also known as Villaggio La Roccia, the centre offers delightful eco type cabins designed with great simplicity but with all comforts and facilities . The centre is open all year round. Andrea has many years of experience and is a great Zhineng Qigong practice teacher and leader . Her interest is particularly focused on medical qigong and the healing aspects of practicing zhineng qigong she herself has personally experienced the healing potential of these amazing exercises and her aim is to offer the information to and the possibility to use the power of this discipline to others .
